Elliott Walter J., age 103½ 6/30/1898-1/22/2002 He lived during three centuries of life with words of wit and wisdom to those who were fortunate enough to meet him. He will be remembered for his loyalty, trustworthiness, thriftiness, hard work ethic, humor and honesty. Preceded in death by wife of 52 years, ''Mattie'' (nee Haselman); brothers & sisters, Nora, Arthur, Owen and Hazel. Survived by daughter, JoAnne and grandson, Charles J. Elliott; sisters, Helen (Ken) Daniels and Ruby Bolander; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 2 PM, Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE, with visitation 2 hours prior to service. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
