Bailey Walter G., age 96, formerly of Columbia Hgts & NE Mpls. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Bernice; sisters & brothers, Zoe, Ellis, Muriel, Arthur, Vernon, and Lauren Bailey. Survived by sons, Tom (Carol) and Bill (Helen& grandchildren, Krisi Bailey, Teri Anderson (Scott), Andrea Bailey and Sarah Bailey, Ben Scharff (Becky) and Nate Scharff; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Alison; special friend Karen Bailey; niece, Kathy Altermatt (Jim). Lifelong member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Retired Carman with Soo Line Railroad (CP Railroad). Member of F.O.E. Aerie 1247. Memorials preferred to the Pillars Hospice. Funeral Service 11 am Wednesday Washburn McReavy Northeast Chapel, 2901 Johnson St. NE. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Visitation Tues 4-7 pm at Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel 612-781-6828
