Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judy; daughters, Vickie Erickson of Long Prairie, Cindy Petrie of Wilsonville, OR, Connie Glass of Minnetonka, and LuAnn Prinsen of Mpls.; son, Virgil Paul Petrie II of Mpls.; 13 Grandchildren; and 8 brothers & sisters. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society Brenny Funeral Home, Staples, MN.
