Sedell Violet Helen Sedell, passed away July 24 at Augustana Chapel View Care Center. Violet was born October 15, 1914 and lived most of her life in her Minneapolis family home. Violet spent her working career at the downtown Dayton's store, retiring after more than 40 years of service. She was a caring, giving, sweet woman who found joy in pleasing others. She will be missed by nieces Leslee Slawson and Loree Zinck, as well as other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 PM at Hopkins United Methodist Church, 717 Highway 7, Hopkins, MN. Memorials preferred. A private interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery.
