Winkler Viola Evelyn, age 79, of Golden Valley, born in Vining, MN, passed away peacefully Sept. 14, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Edward; parents, Hilda & Clarence Olson; infant grandson, Joshua Winkler; brothers, Herbert and Donald Olson; sisters, Adeline Barker and Corrine Buseth. Survived by 3 children, Barb (Terry) Haubrich, Nancy (Steve) Hakanson, John (Pam) Winkler; 7 grandchildren, Sara Marable, Tracy Ward, Brian, Kelly and Laura Hakanson, Nick and Mike Winkler; brothers, Bud Olson of Clitherall, Richard Olson of Henning; sisters, Alice Peterson of Detroit Lakes, Louann Bistodeau of Henning; June Simpkins of Sauk Centre. Memorial service 11 am Wednesday, September 18, 2002, Elim Lutheran Church, 40th and West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
