Butler Vesta G., 86, of Cook, MN, formerly of Pelican Lake-Orr and Mahtomedi, died Thursday at the Cook Hospital. Survived by loving husband of 62 years, Gordon; son, James (Catherine) Butler of White Bear Lake, MN; daughters, Patricia (Lyle) Knutson of South St. Paul, MN, Jacquelyn (Raymond) Werner of Hampton, MN, Judith (Joel) Preston of Richfield, MN, and Nancy (William) Mault of Cook, MN; sister, Harriet Lou (Vince) Catalano of Santa Cruz, CA; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial service 1 pm Sunday (Sept 15) at Trinity Lutheran Church of Cook. A gathering of family & friends will be held 5-7 pm Saturday in the Mlaker Funeral Home of Cook, MN. 218-666-5298
