Kolstad Vernita Annette Kolstad died Feb. 6. Born in Evan, MN in 1906. Miss Kolstad was an Army nurse during WWII and served in Europe. After the war, she returned to Mpls where she became a school nurse. She moved to Hayward, CA in 1997. Her helpful and generous nature will be remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her niece, Diane Vernita Brandenburg and her nephew, Neil Ray Beckley.
