Clinton Verde R. (Fogel), age 76, of New Hope, MN, was called home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2002 after a long illness. Retired from Lund's Foods, Inc. after 23 years. Former member of the Mt. Olivet Miriam Society. Member of Shhh! (Self Help for Hard of Hearing). Preceded in death by husbands, Elwood C. Copus and Rome P. Clinton; and step-daughter, Judy Leddy. Survived by children, Dianne (Bob) Roghair, Robert Copus, Darcy (Doug) Sabart, Ron (Rita) Copus, Doni (Halgeir) Grodahl; step-children, John (Vi) Clinton, James (Leetha) Clinton, Joan (Steve) Johnson; 5 grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence (Bonita) Fogel and Milton Fogel; sister, Mavis Fugere, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Twin Cities Hospice and the staff and friends of the Ambassador Good Samaritan Center. Memorials to your local Animal Humane Society or American Cancer Society. Memorial service 1 PM Sat., March 23 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Avenue S, Mpls. Visitation 1 hour prior. Cremation Society of MN Mpls. 612-825-2435
