Phillipp Susan, of St. Nicholas, MN, 7/28/1899 to 2/4/03, 103 yrs. Services 11 AM Sat. 2/8/03 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, St. Nicholas, MN. Visitation from 2-3 PM Friday at the Assumption Nursing Home Chapel in Cold Spring, MN, and Saturday from 9:30 AM until services at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She is the daughter of Paul and Catherine (Wieber) Phillipp. She did office work in Washington D.C. during World War II and came back to Minnesota in 1949. She then lived in Minneapolis and worked at the Veterans Benefits Office at Fort Snelling until she retired in 1964. She was a member of the daughters of Isabella while living in Minneapolis. Survivors include 35 nieces and nephews and many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Joe, Eva Mais, John, Ida Wirtzfeld, Alphonse, Agnes Sopkowiak, Paul, Alex, Alma Backes and infant Peter.
