Himmelman- Shapiro Susan Himmelman-Shapiro, age 41, died tragically in an automobile accident Sunday, July 20th. She is preceded in death by her father, David William Himmelman. Survived by husband, Peter Shapiro; daughters, Michele, Talia and Leah; mother, Beverly (Richard) Fink; sister, Nina (Russell) Rothman; brothers, Paul (Judith) Himmelman and Peter (Maria) Himmelman; father-in-law, Joel Shapiro; brothers-in-law, Everett and David Shapiro; sisters-in-law, Kathy Taylor and Joan Shapiro; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Because of her love of all children her family called Susan the universal mother. "She was the funniest and best mom who comforted us when we were scared."
