Rosenberg, Stephen Age 71 of St Paul, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 from ALS. Steve was a loving brother, loyal friend, and dedicated employee, ready to use his talents in any way to help others. Strongly attracted to music as a child, Steve way fascinated by the organ. Although trained as a mathematician, music became his primary focus. For over 53 years he served as organist at nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and for 50 years as Organist/Choir Director at Fairmount Ave. United Methodist Church in St. Paul. During his career he gave recitals and recorded three CDs of organ music. He worked tirelessly to maintain the organs at both churches, in addition to volunteering on projects ranging from PA systems to boiler operation. Preceded in death by his parents Rose and Harvey Rosenberg. Survived by beloved sister Susan and brother Ross (Shelly), nieces Jessica Rosenberg, Katherine Scholen-Eden (David); and nephew Ryan Rosenberg. Funeral at 10:30am, Friday, August 26th at Nativity Church (1900 Stanford Ave, St. Paul) with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service and from 4-8pm, Thursday, August 25th at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave N, St. Paul).
