Justen, Stella (Lynde) Age 79 of Eden Prairie formerly of Coon Rapids, MN passed away October 21, 2019 at her home with her large family at her side. Stella was born May 19, 1940 in Minneapolis. She attended Edison High School, Class of 1958. She was united in marriage to Patrick Justen on May 14, 1960 in Minneapolis. Stella enjoyed crafts of all kinds, was an avid reader, and enjoyed telling everyone about her seventeen grandchildren. Stella was a zealous advocate of the underdog and perhaps the most spirited teller of truths. Stella is preceded in death by her father, Al Smith; mother, Eva Orr; step father, Ervine Lynde; mother- in-law, Winifred Leahy; and daughter, Carrie Lea Dean. She is dearly remembered by husband, Patrick; children, Pennie (Brad) Edberg, Laura Lawrence, John (Benita) Justen, Sherri (Mitch) Potter, Michael (Dana) Justen, Shane (Alycn) Justen; grandchildren, Tarisa, Beth, Mitchell Jr., Justin, Brianna, Jennah, Gabby, Alley, Jodi, Michael, Cliff, Joe, James, Cassandra, Chelsey, Kurstin, Katie; special great-granddaughter, Vera; and many other great-grandchildren and fur babies. Stella is fondly remembered by many extended family members and hundreds of friends who call her Ma. We'd like to take a moment to thank John, Benita, and Justin for all the care and love they have provided over the last few months to Stella and each of us.
