Stanley G. Hanson Obituary

Hanson Stanley G. Hanson, age 77, died February 14, 2002, after a 55-year struggle with problems and illnesses associated with his World War II navy service. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Earl, and his parents, Harry and Jean. Survivors include wife Phyllis, sons, Robert and Daniel, daughter, Beverly and granddaughter, Amanda, his brother Dr. Mark of Oregon, and sister Edith and husband Shu-Chan of Japan. Stan never lost his courage and his will to fight for life and enjoy it. His smile, love, and good cheer will be missed. Memorials may be direted to the Nave Technical Institute Committee, to assist the poor in India, and country Stan grew up in and loved. Private interment, Lakewood Cemetery. Celebration of his life on Tuesday, February 19, at 2:00 PM at Crosstown Covenant Church, 5540 30th Ave S., Mpls. Henry W. Anderson 612-729-2331
