Good Sister Marlys (Mary Walter), CSJ. Died after a brief illness at Bethany Convent, St. Paul, on Friday, December 20, 2002. Sister Marlys taught in elementary schools in the Twin City area. Sister is survived by her brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Visitation beginning at 3:30 pm Sunday at the Provincial House Chapel, 1880 Randolph Ave., St. Paul, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 6:30 pm. Memorials preferred to the Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation, 1884 Randolph Ave., St. Paul. Willwerscheid & Peters, 651-228-1006.
