Melby Sidney, March 5, age 88 years, of Oakdale. Beloved husband of Delores of 64 years. Father of Janet Melby Seleen (David) and Gaylen (Joan); sister, Eleanor Melby Ollestad; grandchildren, Julie and Mark Pawlenty, Eric and Anne Melby, Sara Melby, Michael Melby; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Danielle Pawlenty and Tyler Melby; also nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service Friday, March 8 from HAZEL PARK CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, Minnehaha at Van Dyke at 1 PM. Visitation Thursday from 4-8 PM at the MAPLE OAKS FUNERAL HOME, 2585 Stillwater Rd. between Century & McKnight and at church the hour preceding the service. Interment Union Cemetery. Sidney was a charter member of the St. Paul Clown Club. Retired from Fairway Food after 32 years as a consultant. MAPLE OAKS F.H. 651-738-2198
