Black Shirley J. Peterson Black, 84, of Bemus Point, NY, formerly of St. Louis Park. She was a 1936 graduate of West High School and 1938 graduate of the University of MN. Shirley was employed as a clerk at Dayton's for more than 50 years. Member of Westwood Lutheran Church, Woodrow Wilson VFW Auxiliary, U of MN Alumni and Job's Daughters. Survived by sons, Daniel A. Black of Bemus Point, NY and Jeffrey L. Black of Kingwood, TX; daughter, Mary E. Boven of Snellville, GA and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by first husband, Albert S. Oleisky and second husband, Jerome J. Black; two sisters, Eloise Wales and Betty Halloran. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, Aug 1 at Washburn-McReavy Davies Chapel, 2301 Dupont at Hennepin Ave S., Mpls. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Rd., St. Louis Park. Interment Lakewood Cemetery, Mpls.
