Henjum Shirley, age 72, of Richfield, joined Jesus on 3/22/03. Preceded in death by husband, Irvin; and father, August Ruther. Survived by mother, Julia Ruther; children, Keith (Barb), Allan (Diane) and Julie (Robert) Brawley; brother, Alvin (Mary Jeanne) Ruther; 10 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation TODAY from 5-8 PM at First Memorial Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave S., 952-924-4900. Funeral service Wednesday 3/26/03 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior at Emerson Congregational UCC, 7601 Girard Ave S., Richfield, 612-869-3221. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
