Lawter (Roland) Shirlee Jean, age 67, of Plymouth, on 4/27/03. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Tiny Roland of Ruthven, Iowa; and sister, Vonda Lee. Survived by daughters, Kristin Thorson and Miss Sassy. Graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in 1957. Shirlee was a kindergarten teacher in the Wayzata School District for 33 years and a winter resident of Winterhaven, FL. She retired at the age of 55 and lived life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial service Monday, May 12, 2 PM at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata, with lunch to follow at the Wayzata American Legion.
