Slagel Sharon Kaye Bell (nee Tufty), age 61, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, formerly of Austin, TX, Kansas City, MO and Marshall, MN. Preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lillian Tufty. She will be sadly missed by children, Tanya L. Bell and husband Lee A. Schafer of Saint Paul, MN, Guy Pierce Bell and wife Camin of Seattle, WA, Katrina A. Bell of New York, NY; three grandchildren; sisters, Carole Mooney, Jeanne Alverson, LaFaye Goodin, Verlyn Larson; brother, Robert Tufty. Memorial service Saturday, November 16 at 10:30 AM at MACALESTER PLYMOUTH UNITED CHURCH, 1658 Lincoln Avenue, Saint Paul. Family will receive friends following the service at church. Memorials are preferred to the Sharon Slagel Memorial Fund in care of Tanya Bell, 2237 Sargent Avenue, St. Paul MN 55105 for a park bench or marker on the Mississippi River Boulevard.
