Scott Lindberg Obituary

Lindberg, Scott passed away April 27, 2020 in Edmonds, WA due to cancer. He was born to Dennis Lindberg and Shirley Anderson Lindberg in Edina, MN on Sept. 24, 1969. He became known for his blog, Ars Longa: research of mid-century fine arts, modernist design, and thrift shop archaeology based on the tenet that nicely designed objects and beautiful artworks can be affordably attained by everyone. In the past 10 years, he collected and documented mid-century graphic design on his site New Documents. He created the #thriftbreak community and supported other collectors through social media. His collection will now be housed at Letterform Archive in San Francisco. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Kate Nesse, his children Izzy & Arlo, his mother, Shirley, three brothers, Brian, Brad & Gregg and nine nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed.
