Knobel, Sandra J. "Sandie" Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Aunt and Friend Age 63, passed away Sept. 3, 2008 in a car accident. Survived by her loving husband, Casey, with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage. Also survived by son, Eric (Stacie) Knobel; daughters, Andrea (Sergei) Stets and Laura (Tom) Knobel-Piehl; and six grandchildren, Asher, Jordan, David, Andrew, Natalya and Matthew; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, one sister, a niece and a nephew. Sandie lived her life with Casey as a lighthouse of faith in Jesus Christ. Through this they have been blessed in seeing all of their children and grandchildren as well as many loved ones and friends trust Christ as their Savior. Her passions included lavishing love on her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She also enjoyed touring, cheering on Casey at his hockey tournaments, hosting friends and family at the cabin and her many crafts. Her generosity, hospitality, friendship and willingness to help others in need will be missed. Visitation Wed., Sept. 10, 4-8 PM at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 E. Co. Rd. E, White Bear Lake and 1 hour before service at church. Funeral 11 AM on Thurs., Sept. 11 at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Hilton Trail and Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi.
