Gavren Sam, age 94, of St. Louis Park. Preceded in death by wife, Sadie. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Melvin Kurnow; son and daughter-in-law, Myron and Rose Gavren; grandchildren, Jodi and Sanders Shapiro, Wendy Ginsburg, Beth Gavren, Jamie and Michael Corwin, Michelle Bornstein; great-grandson, Shane Corwin; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service TUESDAY (TODAY) 2 PM, MPLS. JEWISH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70½ & Penn Av., Richfield. Memorials preferred to Sadie Gavren Memorial Fund, c/o B'Nai Emet Synagogue, 3115 Ottawa Av.
