Ruth W. Gould Obituary
Gould Ruth W., age 85, of Bloomington. She was a life-long resident of the Minneapolis area, born January 29, 1917. She attended Minneapolis Jefferson Jr. H.S. and West High, one year at Stephens College, Columbus, MO, receiving her B.A. degree from Univ. of MN in 1939. Ruth met her future husband Robert Gould while at West High and they married in June 1940. Ruth and Bob settled in Edina and were very blessed with a son, Richard in 1942 and a daughter, Bonnie in 1947. She is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren, Bob, Heidi and Andy. Besides being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she found time for hobbies, including flower gardening, flower arranging, knitting, rosemalling, ceramics, stained glass, antiques and dancing. Ruth had a great appreciation for the beauty in nature. She loved sunsets, mountains, lakes and ocean waves, fall foliage colors and of course, flowers of all kinds and pets. Memorial service 2 PM WEDNESDAY at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Ave., Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Hennepin Ave. U.M. Church Foundation, Friendship Village Bloomington Foundation and Downtown 'Y' Service Club. WERNESS BROTHERS 612-927-8641
