Peterson, Ruth Ann age 88, passed away on March 11, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Alice Lang and sister, Barbara Landry. She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Scott) Smith and grandsons, Michael and Patrick Smith. Ruth was born in Buffalo, New York. She graduated from Flint Michigan Central High School with many letters in sports. She attended the University of Michigan where she earned a degree in Dental Hygiene and later a doctorate in Education. She was a lifelong University of Michigan fan. Ruth most recently lived near Minneapolis, MN. She loved to travel and most of all loved her grandkids and spending time with them. Memorial service will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, 5/03/18 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4557 Colfax Ave. S. Mpls. Reception afterward.
