Schendel Russell L., age 47, of Plato, MN. Russ lost his courageous battle with cancer on 9-14-02. He enjoyed auto racing and fishing, and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by father, Russell. Survived by wife, Stacy Sohns; sons, Justin (Nicole), Zachary (Candice); grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Madisyn and MacKenzie; mother, Anna (Jean) McGraw; brothers, Daniel and Jeffrey; sister, Caroline; many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial service Thursday September 19, 5:00 pm St. Johns Lutheran Church, Plato, MN. Visitation Tuesday September 17, 5-8 pm, Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S., Bloomington.
