Backer Russell L., age 75, of Brooklyn Center on November 13, 2002. Survived by sons, Leighton & Kevin (Lisa); grandchildren, Jessie, Alex, Nikki, Alyssa & Matt; daughter-in-law, Kathy. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, November 18 at GRANDSTRAND FUNERAL HOME, 11900 Lake Lane No., Lindstrom, MN (651-257-4000). Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
