Timpte Robert Nelson (Bob). Born 12/4/25, passed away 6/30/03. Preceded in death by parents, Oscar & Mildred Timpte. Survived by sister, Marge (Bill) Carlson of Owatonna, MN; brother, John (Beverly) Timpte of Palm Desert, CA; many nieces & nephews, and his best friends, his cats, Meg, Patches and Rain. Taught junior high school students in the Bloomington Public School System for many years; helped write the first diversity training for State Board of Education. In the Bloomington curriculum, Bob worked for equal representation of all the social science disciplines; for inter-disciplinary courses incorporating the humanities; for inclusion of inter and intra cultural concepts; listed in "Who's Who in America," and "Who's Who in the World." Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society of your choice. Bob has requested no services. Private interment.
