Obermeyer, Robert L. age 80, of Edina, MN, beloved and devoted husband, father, grand- father and great-grandfather, passed away September 13, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Donna; son, Robert (Lisa), granddaughter, Kelly; daughter, Sandy (Greg), grandson, Justin (Brianna) great-granddaughter, Ava Marie, granddaughter, Lauren; daughter, Bonny (Mike), granddaughter, Jessica, grandson, Josh, great- granddaughter, Ava Lennea and her mother, Nicole; sisters-in-law, Joan (Bill) and Ellen; numerous loving and caring nieces and nephews. Bob worked for the city of Edina in the Engineering department for 42 years. He was a retired Navy Sea-bee for 20 years. Bob and his family were Edina pioneers. Bob had many wonderful friends and always extended his hand in greeting. We would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped with Bob's care in the past years. Memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Association, Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation. Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
