Knoblauch ATTN LOCAL #539 Robert J., 59, Deerwood, died 1/28/02 in Brainerd. He was born 10/26/42 in Minneapolis to Raymond & Edna (Bork) Knoblauch. He served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He was a past quartermaster and Commander of Garrison VFW Post #1816, and retired after 39 years as a pipe fitter with Local #539, Minneapolis. Survivors: his wife, Jean, Deerwood; his son, Scott and grandson, Zachery, Brainerd; five sisters, Jean Lovstad, Shoreview, Patricia Frie, Golden Valley, Sharon LeClaire, Fridley, Diane Lanhart, Brooklyn Park, Randie Mattson, Circle Pines and four brothers, David, Fridley, Raymond Jr., Andover, Stephen, Circle Pines, and Tom, Brooklyn Center. His parents preceded him in death. Service 11:30 AM Friday, 2/1/02, Light of the Cross Lutheran Church, Garrison. Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, 1/31/02 at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd & 1 hour prior to service at the church. Halvorson-Johnson FH Brainerd 218-829-3581
