Allen Robert H. (Hummel), 67, of Maple Grove, MN, died May 6, 2002. Robert was born in Rice Lake, WI, Nov. 5, 1934. He was one of the original seven of Cray Research, Inc. (Chippewa Falls, WI). Organized the Hallie Hockey Assoc. (Hallie, WI), and owned Sundance Golf & Bowl, Maple Grove, MN. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Hummel and parents, Helen & Edwin Allen. He is survived by his wife, Marion; children, Karin (Tom) Pettis of Augusta, WI, Jody Allen of Champlin, Matthew Allen of Chippewa Falls, WI, Brian Allen of Mpls, MN and sisters, Carole (Charles) Montemayor of Guantajuanto, Mexico and Cheryl (Daryl) Molitor of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, MN, on Friday, May 10, 2002 at 11 AM. A reception will follow immediately at Sundance Golf & Bowl, Maple Grove, MN.
