Clayson, Robert W. age 90, Brooklyn Center, passed away June 7, 2017. Air Force veteran, dedicated school board member, and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by parents William and Louise Clayson, beloved wife Beverly and grand child Francis Clayson.Survived by sons Rory (Cheryl) and Randy (Lynn) Clayson; daughters Candice Atkins, Shelee Widhalm and Penny (Mike) DeMars; grandchildren Richard and Natasha Clayson, Jamie (Kathy) Atkins, Sarah (Erik) Bushnell, Elijah Suess, Travis Widhalm, Allen (Michelle), Jordan, and Karissa DeMars; great-grandchildren Heaven Ecker, Chloe and Kylie Besett, Maximus Bushnell, Halla and Rosely Suess, Cain, Nicholas and Kelli Widhalm, and Zoey, Jillian and Ellsa DeMars. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday, June 11, 2017, Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center and one hour prior at the church. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, June 12, 2017, at Lutheran Church of the Triune God, 5827 Humboldt Ave. N., Brooklyn Center with lunch following. Interment 2 PM at St. John Cemetery, Elk River.
