Joseph, Rita age 81, of Brooklyn Park passed away on October 10, 2019. Preceded in death by husband, Leslie Joseph; parents, William and Sandhanam Saverimuttu; brothers, Tilak, and Mohan. Survived by her daughters, Christina (Gary) Hanauska, Anne (Christie) Ganes-halingam; grandchildren, Peter, Eric, Ann Marie, Elizabeth, Rose Marie, Lily Marie; sister, Sumathy (Manning) Ambrose; and many nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. Rita was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she studied to become a medical doctor. She moved to the U.S. in 1988, where she continued her career in the health care industry. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, October 18th at 10:30AM with visitation one hour prior at Epiphany Catholic Church, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids.
