Ford Richard S., age 89, of Richfield. A sweet, loving, witty man dedicated to his family and service to others. He was an engineer at Honeywell for 28 years and an administrator at Twin City Federal for 10 years. He served others through scouting, YMCA, and many church activities such as Happy Hoper's for the mentally retarded. He played tennis and marched in the U of M Band Alumni through his 70's. Survived by his son, Ronald B. Ford (Marilyn G.); daughter, Marilyn J. Ford; grandchildren, Corey (Anna) Ford, Elisa (Robert) Lawson and Eric (Jennifer) Ford; 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert A. Sandberg; sister-in-law, Phyllis Sandberg. He was preceded in death by his sweet, loving, beautiful wife, Geraldine; his brother, Donald and sisters, Helen F. Hutchison and Kay Lafans. Services Friday, 11 AM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave S. Interment Lakewood. Visitation Thursday, 5:00-8:00 PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S.
