Mayer Richard L. ''Dick'', age 69, of St. Paul, died on November 26, 2002. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Jackie and grandchildren, Michael and Victoria. Survived by wife of 39 years, LaVonne; children, Mike (Melanie) and Kiki (Dan) Dickinson; grandchildren, Samuel, Natalie and Nicole Mayer; brother, Bill (Jan) Mayer and nieces, Susan, Kitty and Peggy. Richard worked for Hamline University for 30 years. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and true friend to many. Funeral service 11 AM Saturday at ST. MARY'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH (1895 Laurel Ave at Howell, St. Paul). Visitation 3-7 PM Friday at O'HALLORAN & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul) 651-698-0796, and also 1 hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Hamline University, or The American Heart Assoc.
