Scanlon Richard John, age 69, of Bloomington. Preceded in death by parents, Ingeborg & Paul; and brother, James. Dick was a warm and caring person with a great sense of humor. He is survived by wife, Rosalind; brother, Paul (Pat); children, Debbie (Bruce) Brasseur, Michael, Richard Jr. (Mary) and Susan; step-children, Jason Plantin and Jennifer (Brock) Stenberg; 6 grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives. Memorial Mass Friday, Jan. 11 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St, Richfield, MN, 55423 (612-866-5019). Vigil Prayers one hour prior to Mass. Private interment Fort Snelling.
