Nelson Richard J. Nelson, noted wildlife artist, passed away on 10/02/02 in Alexandria, MN after a brief illness. He retired from Lutheran Brotherhood home office, Minneapolis in 1981. Dick is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dori; their four children; and thirteen grandchildren. Memorial service Mon., 10/7/02, 11 AM at First Lutheran Church, Alexandria.
