Pemberton Richard David Pemberton, age 80. Born December 8, 1921 in Kansas City, MO. Died June 30, 2002. Attended Radio and Television school and was hired by Northwest Airlines and moved to Minneapolis to work as a Radio Operator. There he met Betty Rae Miller, formerly of Pepin, WI. They were married in Seattle in 1943. They moved many times for his job, and in each location he planted a new garden. He retired in 1986 from Northwest as a Flight Dispatcher after 46 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife of 59 years; son, David (Janet) of Yorba Linda, CA; daughter, Jill of Seattle, and his flowers and tomato plants. Memorial Service will be held in Seattle Thursday, July 11, 2002, 3:00 pm at Federal Way United Methodist Church.
