Oriani, Richard A. July 19, 1920 - August 11, 2015 age 95, of Edina. Preceded in death by parents, Americo & Bertha Oriani and brother, Ernest and sister, Elena Valdi. Richard is survived by Constance, his devoted wife of 66 years and children, Peggy (Robert) Bates, Steven (Melinda), Julia (Raymond) Carignan and Amy (John) McKone; plus 8 totally "above average" grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Richard retired from the U of MN as professor emeritus in 1989. More details about his vibrant, active life and scientific achievements can be found on his Wikipedia page.
