Cross Rev. Dr. Dorothy Mae Freeman Cross. Born into life on September 16, 1923. Born into eternity on October 19, 2002. In 1976, Dorothy became an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church. She retired from ministry in 1994. In 1997 Dorothy took up residence at Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills. Dorothy is survived by sister, Wilder Wilkins; sons, William (Priscilla), Robert (Alexandra), and James; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 2 memorial services are scheduled. NOVEMBER 1, 2002, 10:30 A.M., at Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills, 3220 Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills (call 651-631-6000 for information). NOVEMBER 2, 2002, 10:00 A.M., at Kwanzaa Community Church, 2100 Emerson Ave N (call 612-287-8152 for information). In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a gift be made to a Memorial Fund in the name of Dorothy F. Cross.
