Spangler Reinou, 85, died Wed., June 26, 2002. Born in Morrison, IL, Reinou was a graduate of the University of IL and Columbia University. She taught English and home economics in rural IL and at Western Michigan University before returning to Varna, IL to marry her husband George and begin her favorite occupation, that of wife and mother. Survived by daughter, Marcia Jones (John); son, Doug Spangler (Rose); 3 grandchildren, Becky Jones, Jeff Jones and Anne Spangler. Reinou's family wishes to thank the many special staff members at Park Health and Rehab Center for the devoted care and many acts of kindness she received while a resident for the past nine years and to Hospice of the Lakes who compassionately aided in her comfort the last several months of life. A memorial service will be held in August in IL. Memorials preferred to charity of donor's choice or Hospice of the Lakes.
