Clouser Regene, age 94 of Mpls, passed away on 7/21/03. Regene was born in Callander, IA June 4, 1909 to Charles & Iva Mavity. Charles was a veteran of the Spanish American War, contracted TB and died at a very young age. The children were raised in a veterans' orphanage in Davenport, IA. Regene left the orphanage at age 15 and worked for a farm family outside of Webester City, IA for several years before moving to Cannon Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by husbands, Elmer Johnston, Christ Knops, and Robert Clouser; and son, Marlowe Johnston (surviving Evelyn Johnston). Survived by children, Charles Johnston, and Gerald (Darlene) Knops; grandchildren, Deborah (Eddie) Bohn, Mark (Karen) Johnston, Susan (Randy) Olson, Linda (Dick) LaFond, Kris (Dennis) McComes, Brenda (Danny) Johnston, Michael (Angie) Johnston, Patrick (Kara) Johnston, Kelly (Kim) Crist, Scott (Marianne) Knops; and 22 great-grandchildren.
