Harding Ramona J., age 65, of Apple Valley, died Friday at Abbott Northwestern Hospital after a brief illness. Ramona Jorgensen was born on Aug. 29, 1937 in Des Moines, IA. She worked as an administrative coordinator for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Plant in Des Moines, and later was employed by Cigna Insurance. On Aug. 27, 1960, Ramona married James Harding. She was a resident of Apple Valley for 28 years prior to her death. Her parents and a sister, Thelma Jorgensen, preceded Ramona in death. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James; her 2 sons, Chris and Kent; 2 grandchildren, Danielle and Jackson; brother, Richard (JoAnn) Jorgensen; and sister, Joanne Kern. Services for Ramona will be held Tuesday, 2 pm, Henry W. Anderson Apple Valley Chapel, 147th & Garrett. Visitation for friends & family one hour prior to the service.
