Phyllis Marjorie Adamson (Johnson). Born Nov. 12, 1932, passed away Nov. 10, 2002, with family by her side. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. Phyllis fought a long, determined battle against malignant melanoma. Phyllis is survived by husband, Jean; daughter, Mari Adamson-Bray (Dan Bray); sons, Mark (Karen), John, James and Jeffrey (Kathy) Adamson; grandchildren, James, Alison, Kirsten, Adam, Emily, Matthew, Phylicia; great-grandchild, Bailey; and sister, Doris Ballintine. A celebration of Phyllis' life will be Sat., Nov. 16, 1 pm at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Sand Lake (Dresser), WI. Friends may greet the family Friday, Nov. 15, 5-7 pm at Edling Funeral Home, St. Croix Falls, WI. A special thanks to all the fine doctors and nurses at St. Croix Regional Medical Center and the University of Minnesota Cancer Research Center, particularly Dr. Ian Okasaki. Phyllis dedicated herself to fighting and finding a cure for malignant melanoma. Memorials preferred to the University of MN Cancer Research Center.
