Budziszewski Phyllis, 74, died on Jan. 6, 2002 at her home in rural Strandquist, MN. Phyllis Conrad was born Jan. 14, 1927 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Gustaf and Helwig (Grunwald) Conrad. She became a LPN and worked at the General Hospital in Minneapolis and later worked in pediatrics at Fairview Southdale Hospital. She married Gerard W. Budziszewski on Nov. 22, 1975. They lived in Minneapolis. In 1990, they moved to rural Strandquist. Gerald died on Oct. 18, 2001. She was President of the Minnesota Federation of LPN's and 3rd Area President for the Minnesota LPN Association. She is survived by step-daughter, Rosemary Budziszewski of St. Paul; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; step-daughter-in-law and ''adopted family'' of David and Diane Stusynski of Strandquist, MN. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 PM with a 2:30 PM prayer service on Monday, with burial to follow at the Crystal Lake Funeral Home at the corner of Penn & Dowling in Minneapolis. Funeral services were held in Florian, MN.
