Swingseth Peter C.B., age 81, of Mpls, joined his wife, Ruth Hoven; parents, Oscar & Anna; sister, Phyllis Quinn; brothers, Palmer and Kenneth on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002. Peter was born 8/16/1920 in Benson, MN. Survived by loving sisters, Clara Swingseth of MI, Faith (John) O'Malley of Benson, MN and Joanne Marose of St. Paul Park. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Former employee of Twin City Transit, Eggekvist Bakery, Mayflower and Bekins Moving Companies. Service Monday, 11 am, with visitation one hour prior to service at Hillside Memorium Chapel, Hwy 88 & 19th Ave NE, Mpls. Visitation also at Washburn-McReavy Nokomis Park Chapel, 1838 E. Minnehaha Pkwy, Mpls on Sunday, 6-8 pm. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Assoc.; Walker Methodist Health Center, 3737 Bryant Ave S., Mpls; or donor's choice.
