Pokela Pearl H., age 89, of Brentwood, WI, died suddenly on 5-24-2002. She is preceded in death by husband, John; daughter, Connie Nerg; grandson, Chuck Nerg; brother, Bill Takala; sister, Anne Salmis. She will be deeply missed by children, Terry (Sherrie) Pokela, Linda (Dave) Vertanen and son-in-law, Roy Nerg; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Memorial service 11 AM Friday, May 31 at CrossRoads Church, 7955 Ivystone Ave S, Cottage Grove (651-459-7111). Cremation Society of MN Mpls. 612-825-2435
