Allen Pearl B., age 92, of Champlin. Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Clyde; sisters, Edna Goodrich & Hazel Johnson; brothers, Oscar, Myron & Dale Peterson; great-grandson, Cody Nungesser. Survived by daughter, Sharon (Chellis) Matz; sons, Clyde Jr. (Lois) & Gary (Anita); sisters, Margaret McAdam & Marion (Gaylord) Ahneman; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Pearl was a 66 year resident of Champlin and a 66 year member of Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka. She was a member of the Chat & Chew Birthday Club and until recently an active member of the Champlin Knitting Club, Champlin Library Assoc., Champlin Women's Club and her Church Women's Circle. Pearl assisted Clyde in his duties as Postmaster of Champlin and continued on in the Champlin Post Office until she retired in 1972. Funeral services Wednesday 11 AM, with reviewal one hour prior at Zion Lutheran Church, 4th Ave. & Adams St., Anoka. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Interment Champlin Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church. Pearl never hesitated to welcome children into her arms and life, and will be dearly missed by the many whose lives she touched. We know that Jesus has now welcomed her into His loving arms.
