Smith Olive E., died Dec. 8, 2002 at age 102. Born Feb. 26, 1900 in Duluth, MN, one of 7 children. Olive lived in Edina, MN nearly 50 years, her last months spent at Walker Elder Suites. Her husband, Darrel W. Smith and 4 siblings predeceased her. Family survivors include son, D. Wm. Smith (Annette); daughter, Susan Miller (Jonathon); sisters, Mae Chalk and Winifred Swanton; a niece, Mary Kozubek and 11 grandchildren & great-grandchildren. In life, Olive gave loving support to family, friends and church. A caring, Christian woman, Olive will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Services will be held later. If desired, memorials may be directed to Knox Presbyterian Church, 4747 Lyndale Av S., Mpls, 55409, or to the donor's choice.
