Barthel Norbert J., age 91, of Annandale, MN, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Monday, Sept. 16, 2002 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 9:00-10:30 am Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. He is survived by his children, Joanne Hartmann, Mesa, AZ, David, Albuquerque, NM, Jane (William) Stepanek, Cedar Rapids, IA, Daniel (Vicky), Rancho Cordova, CA, Dean (Cathy), Bloomington; 16 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Olivia Chervanek; sister-in-law, Betty Barthel; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Donna Hale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha M. (Hengels) Barthel, and daughter, Jean Marie. Norbert was born in St. Michael, MN.
