Naomi Kastenbaum Obituary

Kastenbaum Naomi, 84 of Edina, passed away peacefully December 17, 2002. Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Abraham ''Dutch'' Kasten-baum; brother, Morris Berman; sisters, Sadie Shapiro, Rae Berman, Marion Fineman, and Ruth Kaplan. Survived by brothers, Nathan (Theresa) Berman of St. Louis Park, Hymie D. Berman of Golden Valley; many nieces and nephews and friends galore. A graduate of North High School and the University of Minnesota, Naomi was active over the years in many organizations including Minneapolis Federation of Jewish Service, the Jewish Historical Society, Jewish Community Action, the Minnesota Gerontological Society and the DFL. She will be remembered as a woman who made a difference in this world and inspired others to do the same. Funeral service WEDNESDAY (TODAY) SHIR TIKVEH SYNAGOGUE, 5000 Girard So., Mpls.
